The suspect is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Thursday, March 31 at 9:30 a.m., according to Sgt. JeanMarc Paré of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit.

The Moncton man had previously pleaded guilty to producing child pornography, sexual assault and making child pornography available.  His name is subject to a court-imposed publication ban intended to protect the identity of the victim in the original case.

The man is accused of posing as a teenage girl in order to convince young boys to send him images and videos of a sexual nature of themselves. RCMP say he then distributed the images and videos online.

Police have identified victims from Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom (including England, Ireland and Scotland), the Netherlands, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Belgium, Norway, Germany, France and Latvia.
