Police Seek Suspects in Minto and Chipman Break-ins
The West District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in solving two break and enters this month, one in Chipman and another in Minto.
Police say sometime between the evening of May 5th and the early morning hours of May 8, someone broke in to the post office in Chipman. The interior of the building sustained significant damage, but nothing was reported stolen.
During the same weekend, the Minto Village Office was also broken in to. RCMP say the building suffered significant interior damage, and an undisclosed amount of money was taken.
Police believe the same person or persons may have been involved in both crimes.
