Two People Arrested and Charged with Drug Trafficking in Maine
Two people were arrested and charged with aggravated drug trafficking after a month’s long investigation in Bangor.
Man Arrested and Charged
The MDEA said 39-year-old William Sanchez from Waterbury, Connecticut was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking Cocaine, Cocaine Base and Fentanyl.
Woman Arrested and Charged
Also arrested was 45-year-old Eileen Chase from Bangor who was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking Fentanyl.
Undercover Purchases
Undercover purchases were done as part of the investigation into trafficking of fentanyl and cocaine.
Search Warrant Executed
On Tuesday afternoon, a search warrant was executed at 94 Sidney Street. Sanchez was arrested prior to the warrant and Chase was taken into custody Wednesday.
Drugs, Guns and Money Seized
Agents seized a kilo of cocaine, a kilo of suspected fentanyl, 284 grams of crack, two handguns and over $36,000 in suspected drug proceeds.
More Arrests Expected
More arrests are expected, said police. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
