Woman Died and Man Injured after Head-On Crash in Maine
A 28-year-old woman died Tuesday and a 37-year-old man was injured after a head-on collision on Auburn Road in Turner.
Woman Died at the Scene and Man Injured
Jacqueline Langevin from Auburn was pronounced dead at the scene. Cory Parent from Auburn was transported to Central Maine Medical Center for a medical evaluation.
Crossed the Centerline
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office said Langevin “crossed the centerline and struck a FedEx delivery truck head-on” around 9:56 am.
Road Closed
The road was closed for approximately 4.5 hours. The crash remains under investigation.
First Responders
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office was the Maine State Police Commercial Enforcement Unit and Turner Fire & Rescue.
