
Three Men Arrested and Drugs & Firearms Seized in Maine
Three men were arrested following a months-long drug trafficking investigation in Hancock.
Three Men Arrested and Drugs Seized
A search warrant was executed at 221 Franklin Road by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Downeast Task Force along with the Maine State Police Tactical Team.
Campers and Business Also Searched
Agents also searched several camper trailers and a business on-site, Hancock Cycle.
Multiple People on the Property
“Seven individuals were present on the property at the time the search warrant was executed. The property owner, John Crawford, was not located during the search warrant.” said the MDEA.

Drugs and Firearms Seized During Search
Agents seized 235 ggw (gross weight) of cocaine base (crack), 79 ggw of Fentanyl, 12 ggw of meth, 5 of ggw Cocaine HCL and four firearms. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is over $30,000.
Man Arrested and Charged with Drug Possession
Two men were taken into custody during the search including 29-year-old Jonathan Sprague from Milbridge who was charged with Unlawful Drug Possession and Violation of Conditions of Release.

Second Man Taken into Custody and Charged
Also arrested was 33-year-old Matthew Crabtree from Ellsworth who was charged with Violation of Conditions of Release.
Third Man Arrested on Warrant
Police later executed an arrest warrant and apprehended 60-year-old John Crawford from Hancock at his residence. He was charged with two Counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking of Cocaine Base and Fentanyl.

Additional Arrests Pending in Ongoing Investigation
More arrests are expected, Said the MDEA. The investigation remains active.
