Two Arrested in Federal Drug Trafficking Case in Maine
A 38-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman have been arrested as part of a large-scale investigation into drug trafficking in Maine.
Man and Woman Arrested by DEA
The Belfast Police Department and DEA apprehended Alexander Wilson and Brittany Saucier, both from Belfast, after a traffic stop.
Federal, State and Local Investigation
They were arrested in connection to a federal, state and local investigation into drug trafficking fentanyl and meth in Maine and New Hampshire, said WABI News.
Man Charged with Federal Drug Trafficking Conspiracy
Wilson was charged with a federal conspiracy to commit drug trafficking, and drug possession. Federal agents transported him to New Hampshire for an arraignment.
Woman Arrested on Warrant
Saucier was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and violation of bail conditions. She was released on cash bail.
