Teen Critically Injured after Crash into Cement Barrier in Maine

A male juvenile was critically injured Tuesday after a crash into a cement barrier on North Palermo Road in Palermo.

Teen Crashed into Cement Barrier

The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office said the juvenile lost control of his truck and collided with a cement barrier. The vehicle overturned in the crash.

Firefighters used Ax to Remove Windshield to Provide Care

The Palermo Fire Department had to cut away the windshield with an ax to provide first aid to the teen. Liberty Fire & Rescue was also on the scene.

Teen in Critical Condition

The juvenile had critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The crash is under investigation.
