Masked Man With Chisel Robs Sackville Store
Police are searching for a suspect responsible for an armed robbery Thursday night at a retail store in downtown Sackville.
At approximately 7:50 Thursday evening, a masked man armed with a chisel entered the Great Canadian Dollar Store on Main St. in Sackville, according to Corporal Eric Lamarche of the Sackville Detachment of the RCMP. The thief fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Lamarche said the suspect was approximately 5’6”, with an average build, and was wearing a black and navy blue winter jacket with a hood. The lower part of his face was covered by a dark colored scarf or mask.
