A 41-year-old man was arrested Friday for robbery, aggravated assault, 5 counts of violation of bail and two outstanding warrants.

Man Used Weapon on Female Employee

The Holden Police Department said Clifford Neville from Bangor tried to leave a local store with several unpurchased items. An employee confronted him and he assaulted her with a weapon.

Suspect Stabbed Customer with Used Needle

The employee and several customers were able to subdue Clifford, said police, “but not before he stabbed a customer with a used needle."

Second Arrest in 24 Hours

Police said it was Clifford’s second arrest in 24 hours after being released on five conditions.
