Five Arrested after Drug Trafficking Investigation in Maine
Five people were arrested and face multiple drug charges in Livermore Falls.
Months-Long Drug Trafficking Investigation
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said the arrests come after a months-long investigation into drug trafficking in the area.
Five People Arrested and Taken into Custody
A 46-year-old Livermore Falls woman, Tammie Stone, was charged with 4 active arrest warrants.
Agents arrested 38-year-old Tajuan Washington from New York, New York and charged him with Drug Trafficking.
Also arrested for Drug Trafficking was 27-year-old Tajuan Washington from New York, New York and 21-year-old Messiah Jones from New York, New York.
Police arrested 27-year-old Tyquan Commsisso from New York, New York, and charged him with Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.
Drugs Found Inside Vehicle Near Suspected Drug House
A search warrant was executed on December 4 at 8 Monroe Street. “A vehicle connected to this residence was stopped and agents located 102 grams of suspected Cocaine inside,” said the MDEA.
Drugs and Handgun Seized after Search Warrant at Residence
Later in the day, the residence was searched and police seized 64 grams of cocaine, 143 grams of cocaine base (Crack) and a handgun. The estimated street value of drugs seized is $12,000.
Taken to County Jail to Face Charges
The suspects were transported to the Androscoggin County Jail and charged.
Additional Charges Expected as Investigation is Ongoing
More charges are expected as the drug trafficking investigation remains active and ongoing.
