Two women were arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with Drug Trafficking in Old Orchard Beach.

The Old Orchard Beach Police Department said 44-year-old Hedi Aldrich and 45-year-old Denise Cassette were taken into custody around 1 pm.

Officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle parked outside a local business. The two women were sitting in the car when police arrived on the scene.
Drugs and a Significant Amount of Money Seized after Police Search
Police searched the vehicle and seized more than 33.3 grams of cocaine, 9.2 grams of cocaine base and a large amount of cash on the women.
Suspects Transported to County Jail with Bail Set at $12,000
They were both arrested and taken to the York County Jail. Bail was set at $12,000.
Two Women Face Multiple Drug Charges Following Arrest
Aldrich was charged with Unlawful Drug Trafficking. Cassette faces charges for Unlawful Drug Trafficking and Unlawful Furnishing of Drugs.
