Women Arrested for Cocaine, Meth Trafficking in Moncton Area
Two 33-year-old women are facing drug trafficking charges after two separate arrests by the RCMP in the Moncton area on Thursday.
RCMP Corporal Martin Hachey said one woman was arrested with several hundred tablets of what police believed to be methamphetamine. The drugs were divided into several packages.
The second woman was arrested the same day for trafficking crack cocaine, Hachey said. Both women were released pending a court appearance on May 23rd.
The arrests were made as part of a joint forces operation between Codiac Regional RCMP, Codiac Street Crime and New Brunswick RCMP's Federal Serious and Organized Crime.
