Drug Agents, State Troopers and Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at Suitter’s mobile home on the Timoney Lake Road shortly after 2pm.  MDEA commander Darrell Crandall said the woman tried to escape out a rear door but was quickly captured.

The search took several hours as the lab team in chemical and fire resistant suits and breathing apparatus scoured the trailer and an outbuilding.  Agents seized equipment, chemicals and other items used in the making of methamphetamine, as well as a quantity of the dangerous drug.

Suitter was arrested, taken to the Aroostook County Jail and charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Methamphetamine. She faces a minimum of four-years in prison.

The Department of Environmental Protection assisted at the scene, along with members of the Oakfield and Houlton Fire Departments
