
Three People Arrested and Charged with Drug Trafficking in Maine
Three people were arrested Sunday evening and charged with Drug Trafficking after a traffic stop in Medway.
Woman and Two Men Arrested
The East Millinocket Police Department arrested 25-year-old Lindsay Gardner Linneus, 34-year-old Daniel Ferranti from Presque Isle and 37-year-old Colter Cross from Woodland.
Drug Paraphernalia in Vehicle
Officers stopped a “suspicious vehicle” at a convenience store. Sgt. Clayton saw drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and asked Gardner to exit.
Woman Resisted Police
“She began physically resisting Sgt. Clayton and a brief struggle ensued before she was restrained,” said Police.
Bail Conditions and Probation
Ferranti had bail conditions and was detained with the help of Ofc. Scelso. Cross was inside the store and was on probation.
Drugs and Handgun Seized
Police seized Methamphetamine, Suboxone, Fentanyl, a handgun, cash and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
Arrested and Charges
All three were taken into custody and face multiple charges.
Woman Charged
Gardener was charged Unlawful Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Drug Possession, Refusing to Submit to Arrest and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.
Second Person Charged
Ferranti faces charges for Unlawful Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Drug Possession, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person and Violation of Bail.
Third Person Charged
Cross was charged with Unlawful Drug Trafficking, Unlawful Drug Possession, Possession of Firearm by a Prohibited Person, Operating After Revocation and was held on a probation violation.
