The event scheduled for February 12-15, 2015 is expected to draw teams from all over Canada, the U.S. and several other countries. Each year, teams converge on frozen Roulston Lake in the small northwestern New Brunswick village to participate in the great game of hockey the way it was first played.

Over 20 rinks are set up so 40 teams can play simultaneously throughout the weekend.  The World Pond Hockey Championship is open to mens' and womens' teams of six or more players.

The weekend focuses on camaraderie of hundreds of hockey enthusiasts and enjoying the warm hospitality of rural New Brunswick, Canada, according to organizer Danny Braun. To register your team, visit www.worldpondhockey.ca. The registration deadline is June 30, 2014.
