A 35-year-old man was arrested and charged after wielding a knife and threatening to kill people at a business office in Bangor.
Facing Multiple Charges
Jeremy Trudeau from Bangor was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, terrorizing, domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence terrorizing, violation of a protection order and criminal mischief.
Man with a Knife Threatened People Inside Building
The Bangor Police Department said Trudeau had a knife and threatened people inside a business on Sumner Street.
Woman Inside Building had Protective Order
A woman inside the building told officers she had a protective order against Trudeau. He had been waiting outside for her, according to WGME News.
Woman Ran from Suspect and Screamed for Help
Witnesses told officers he chased the woman inside the building as she screamed for help.

Victim Barricaded Herself in a Room and Man Tried to Break it Down
The woman barricaded herself in a room and Trudeau tried to break down the door, damaging it in the process.

Man Arrested Trying to Flee in Vehicle
He tried to flee the scene and police apprehended him as he was getting in a vehicle.

Taken to County Jail and Booked
Trudeau was transported to the Penobscot County Jail and booked. The investigation is active and ongoing.
