Kenneth Adams was charged with distributing controlled substances and possessing them with intent to distribute.

Previously Convicted in Aroostook County, Maine

Adams was previously convicted in 2016 in Aroostook County Superior Court for unlawful drug trafficking, said the Attorney General's Office.

Confidential Informant Controlled Buy

In January 2024, Adams sold 250 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant in a controlled buy captured on video & audio and physically surveilled by investigators.

Drugs Trafficked into Maine from New York

Adams trafficked a large amount of fentanyl and cocaine into Maine from the Bronx, New York.

Fentanyl, Cocaine and a Handgun Seized

In June 2024, a search warrant was executed at his Bronx residence. Police seized a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun, approximately 260 grams of fentanyl and close to 780 grams of cocaine.

Facing 10 years to Life in Prison

Adams faces 10 years to life in prison with a fine up to $8 million. He also faces four years to life of supervised release.
