
Five People Arrested after Drugs and Firearms Seized in Maine
Five people were arrested Tuesday and charged with Drug Trafficking after a months-long investigation in Searsport.
Drug Trafficking Investigation
The case involved the sale of meth and cocaine at two separate residences.
Undercover Purchases
“This investigation included several undercover purchases of both cocaine base and methamphetamine from the residences,” according to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Five People Arrested for Drug Trafficking
Five people were arrested including 65-year-old David Hersom from Searsport was charged with Unlawful Drug Trafficking. His bail was set at $2500 cash.
Also arrested was 47-year-old Melissa Dyer from Searsport who faces charges for Unlawful Drug Trafficking. Her bail was set at $2500 cash.
A 42-year-old woman, Holly Jo Ward from Searsport, was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking. Her bail was set at $750 cash.
A 20-year-old, Yandril Mateo-Nunez from Lawrence, Massachusetts was charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking. Cash bail was set at $10,000.
Also taken into custody was 22-year-old Nelkis Alexander Villalona-Perez from Lawrence, Massachusetts with charges for Aggravated Drug Trafficking. His cash bail was set at $10,000.

Warrants Executed at Two Residences
Agents executed search warrants on Tuesday at the two residences, one on Homestead Road and another on Loop Road.
Drugs, Guns and Money Seized at First Address
Police seized 70 grams of meth, 24 grams of cocaine at the Loop Road address. Two firearms and $4390 in suspected drug proceeds were also seized.

Firearms and Meth Seized at Second Address
At the second address, police seized 28 firearms and 29 grams of meth.
Street Value of the Drugs
The estimated street value of the drugs is $12,400.

Five Suspects Taken to County Jail
All five suspects were taken to the Waldo County Jail and booked on the charges.
Lead Investigators
Investigating the case was the Maine State Police tactical team, MDEA, the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office and the Searsport Police Department.
