Freezing rain, sleet and snow early Tuesday across Aroostook County and western New Brunswick has caused some slippery road conditions and school delays and closures: Here is the updated list:
CLOSINGS & CANCELLATIONS:
All schools in Zones 1 - 5 of the Anglophone West School District (N.B.) will be closed today due to poor weather and road conditions. (Includes about 30 schools from Edmundston to Woodstock to Doaktown)
All schools in the District Scholaire Francophone du Nord-Ouest are closed Tuesday.
The Alzheimer’s Disease Caregiver Support Group scheduled for 1:00 pm today at Cary Medical Center has been cancelled. For more information call 498-1112.
Adult Multiple Alternative Center in Caribou - Closed today
All Central Aroostook Association Programs - Closed today
ACAP Military Street Head Start & Foundation Classes - Activity cancelled Tuesday
Autism Intervention Services in the Woodstock area will remain closed for the morning. They will reassess at noon for afternoon intervention.
MSAD #45 (Washburn School District) has cancelled the after-school program for today.

UMPI’s Houlton Higher Education Center will have a 2 hour delay today. Classes will resume at 10:00 a.m. The Presque Isle campus remains on its normal schedule.
