Two men were arrested for Drug Trafficking after a home invasion in Hermon.

Two Men Arrested after Breaking into Home and Drug Trafficking

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said 34-year-old Carl Harvey from Glenburn and 52-year-old Adam Brooks from Waterville were taken into custody following a traffic stop.

Four Men Broke Down Door During Home Invasion

Their arrest came after surveillance video showed four men in multiple vehicles forced entry into a residence by breaking the door down. One of the men had a handgun, according to Deputies. No one was home at the time.

Vehicle Located at Hotel and Men Pulled Over and Stopped

One of the vehicles used in the crime was located at a Bangor hotel. Two men were seen getting in the vehicle and were stopped on Odlin Road and arrested.

K-9 Called to the Scene and Detected Drugs in the Vehicle

A K-9 unit responded to the scene and alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle.

Two Handguns and Drugs Seized from Vehicle

Two search warrants were executed and Deputies seized two handguns and more than 220 grams of cocaine (gross weight).
