Year-Long Drug Investigation
Andre Jones from Bronx, New York was taken into custody after a year-long investigation.
Drugs Seized
The Waterville Police Department seized $30,000 worth of crack and fentanyl in his possession.
Bringing Drugs to Maine
Officers learned that Jones was bringing a large amount of crack and fentanyl into Maine on February 6.
Street Value of $30,000
Jones was in possession of 300 grams of crack cocaine and almost 30 grams of fentanyl with a street value of $30,000.
Two Counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking
He was taken to the Kennebec County Correctional Facility and charged with two counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking.
Cash Bail
Bail was set at $25,000 cash. The investigation is ongoing.
