It’s that time of year where sleigh bells are jingling and people are rockin’ around the Christmas tree. It really is a festive time of year and Christmas music just seems to make it more magical.

There is nothing like sipping some hot cocoa in front a fire place while listening to some of that jovial Christmas music. Now, we all have our favorites. You’ve got classics and a lot of remakes of the originals, no matter what you listen to, Christmas music definitely brightens your spirit.

My favorite Christmas song is probably ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ by Judy Garland which first came out in 1944. It’s amazing that a song like that has such longevity and is really timeless. This song was introduced by Judy Garland in a poignant moment in the 1944 movie musical ‘Meet Me In St. Louis’. The filmmakers complained that the first version of the song's lyrics was too depressing and commissioned a rewrite that became the most popular interpretation.

I love a good Christmas song, whether it an old classic or even something newer. They just get me into the holiday spirit. What Christmas songs are on your playlist?
