On Wednesday, members of the RCMP in New Brunswick's Federal Operations in Moncton and the Codiac Regional RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Elmwood Drive.

During the search, police seized quantities of substances believed to be crack cocaine, amphetamine and oxycodone pills, and marijuana, according to Sgt. Tim Feeney. RCMP say they also found contraband cigarettes, two prohibited weapons, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

A 45-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested at the residence. They were released on a promise to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on October 11.
