Saint John Man Charged in Child Exploitation Case
A 37-year-old Saint John man has been charged in connection with an internet child exploitation investigation.
In June 2016, the New Brunswick RCMP's Internet Child Exploitation Unit began investigating after receiving information from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre in Ottawa about images circulating on the internet of a possible female victim under the age of 10. The investigation determined that the girl lived in New Brunswick.
Constable Hans Ouellette said a man was arrested in September in connection with the investigation and later released pending a court appearance.
On Tuesday, James Curtis Green appeared in Saint John Provincial Court charged with making child pornography. Green is scheduled to return to court on March 7.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
