Momentum Aroostook Issues a Challenge for ‘Movember’ [PHOTOS]

The ‘stache is coming back…for the month of November, at least.  Each year, a global event known as Movember inspires men of all ages to grow moustaches to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, specifically cancer initiatives.  This year, Momentum Aroostook is bringing Movember to the County! And they’re looking for a few good men—real men.

So, here’s how you can join this magnificent expression of manhood known as Movember:  First, sign up at  www.movember.com to create your own “Mo Space.”  Then starting November 1 you grow, groom, and (dare I say) wax your finest mustachioed look for the next 30 days.

You can post photos of your progress and link to your Facebook profile to help get the word out and raise money.   With the support of the special women in their lives (Mo Sistas), Mo Bros raise funds through sponsorship for their noble efforts.   At the end of the month, they celebrate by either throwing their own Movember party or attending one of the infamous Movember Gala Partés held around the world.

The funds raised go to support programs run directly by Movember as well as the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
