Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Kingsclear First Nation, N.B.
The West District RCMP is investigating a fatal car-pedestrian collision Friday night on the Kingsclear First Nation.
The Keswick detachment responded to the collision on Route 102 at around 9:45 p.m. According to Corporal J.F. Martel, a 27-year-old woman from Kingsclear First Nation was struck by a pickup truck as she was attempting to cross the highway.
The woman, identified as Alyssia Paul. died at the scene as the result of her injuries. Paul had been walking with a male friend, who was not harmed. She leaves behind three young children.
The investigation is continuing.
