Woman Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking in Maine
A 21-year-old woman was arrested and charged with drug trafficking after a months-long investigation in Lewiston.
Facing Four Counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking
Samantha Ogwudiegwu was taken into custody at her place of employment on Howe Street. She was charged with 4 Counts of Aggravated Drug Trafficking.
Search Warrant Executed after Undercover Buys
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said a warrant was executed on Granite Street following the investigation and undercover purchases of fentanyl.
Drugs, Pills, Mushrooms, Handguns and AR 15 Pistol Seized
“Agents seized 167 grams of cocaine, 7.9 grams fentanyl, 1100 30mg Oxycodone pills, 60 Xanax pills, 30 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 2 handguns and an AR 15 pistol,” said the MDEA.
Taken to Jail and Bail Set with More Charges Coming
She was transported to the Androscoggin County Jail with bail set at $12,500. Additional charges are expected. The MDEA said “All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
