UMFK Alumnus Patrick Emery To Speak At UMFK Campus Speaker Series
The University of Maine Fort Kent Environmental Studies Speaker Series will host a presentation by UMFK alumnus Patrick Emery.
The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 1 at Noon in Nadeau Hall conference room.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
Mr. Emery will speak about the mission of the Maine Land Use Planning Commission (LUPC) and its responsibilities. He will also talk about his personal and work experiences that have led him to get into state government and careers in conservation.
Patrick Emery works for the office of LUPC, through the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, as an environmental specialist II.
He serves the Ashland region.
Mr. Emery graduated from UMFK in 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a concentration in wildlife ecology.
