Two Men Charged with Kidnapping & Assaulting a Woman in Maine

Two men were arrested Wednesday night and charged with kidnapping a woman and assaulting her after a home invasion in Bangor.

Two Men Face Kidnapping and Assault Charges after Breaking into Home

Michael Clark from Ohio and Dovan Campbell from Michigan were charged with breaking into the female victim’s residence on Essex Street around 6:40 pm.

Woman was Threatened, Assaulted and Locked in a Bathroom

The woman was threatened and assaulted and locked in the bathroom, according to the Bangor Police Department.

Female Victim Escaped and Called Police

She escaped and called police who responded to the scene and took the two men into custody.

Men Facing Multiple Charges Including Kidnapping and Assault

Both Clark and Campbell were charged with Kidnapping, Assault and Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon.

Two Suspects Taken to County Jail and Charged

They were transported to the Penobscot County Jail and booked.
