Tracks Stolen From Utility Task Vehicle in Littleton
Maine State Police are working to recover a set of UTV tracks that were allegedly stolen from a vehicle parked at an Emera Maine job site in Littleton.
Troop F received a report Thursday morning of a stolen 2014 Polaris Ranger side-by-side utility vehicle, according to Sgt. Josh Haines. The vehicle, owned by Emera Maine, had been parked overnight at a potato house on the Station Road in Littleton.
Emera employees followed the tracks and located the UTV a short distance away on the Shanks Road, parked at a plowed turnaround. Sgt. Haines said the Ranger’s Camoplast tracks had been removed and stolen.
Police say the theft occurred sometime between 3:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday. Anyone with information related to this theft is encouraged to call the State Police Barracks in Houlton at 532-5400 and ask for Trooper Jared Sylvia, who is investigating the case.
