A 74-year-old Ludlow man was extricated from a tractor-trailer after a rollover crash in Maine.

A tractor-trailer crash on Interstate 95 in southern Aroostook County late Thursday night shut down the highway for several hours and the cleanup continued Friday morning.

A nearby resident heard the crash, went to the scene, and called 911.

A 34-year-old Ludlow man has been sentenced to a year and a day in federal prison for falsifying information during the purchase of two semi-automatic rifles.

A Bangor man has been charged with operating under the influence of drugs after a rollover crash Sunday evening on I-95 in southern Aroostook County.

For the second time in less than eight months, a southern Aroostook couple has been arrested on methamphetamine charges, and the woman's mother has also been charged.

Two arrests have been made following the discovery of another meth lab in southern Aroostook County.
