According to Houlton Humane Society Executive Director Heather Miller, a school bus driver found two deceased un-neutered Beagle-mix dogs laying alongside each other in a snowbank along the Laskey Road in Ludlow on Thursday morning.

Miller said that both dogs suffered broken necks, but not much else for injuries, so they are not sure what happened to the animals.

The dogs were not wearing collars.

The Humane Society is trying to determine just what exactly happened to these dogs, and would like to bring justice for them and give them a proper burial.

If you have any information in to this case, you're asked to contact Heather Miller with the Houlton Humane Society at 538-7243.

We'll have more information on this case as it becomes available.
