Police in Maine are investigating after a body was found in Casco Bay on Saturday.
Body Found in Casco Bay under Investigation
A female passenger on a ferry from Peaks Island to Portland saw the body in the water and informed the captain.
Police Contacted after Remains Found
Casco Bay Lines contacted the Portland Police Department to look into the incident, said The Portland Press Herald. The ferry remained in the area of the body until officials arrived to investigate.
Investigation is Ongoing
The cause of death has not been released. Name and age have also not been released.
