Oromocto Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle Collision

RCMP say a 28-year-old man who was injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a car in Oromocto N.B. early last week has died in hospital.

Oromocto RCMP responded to the collision just after 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 24.

Police say the motorcycle was travelling north on Broad Road when it struck a car that was in the southbound lane attempting to turn onto Restigouche Road.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 28-year-old man from Oromocto, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Police now say the victim of the crash passed away on Thursday, June 27.

The driver and lone occupant of the car was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
