Mars Hill Man Survives Accident at a Potato Farm

Gregory Cousins, 22, was seriously injured on Wednesday while working at the County Farms LLC potato house in Mapleton.

Cousins clothing got caught in a bin piler, a machine that moves potatoes from a truck into a storage. The accident almost strangled Cousins but his co-workers were quick to help him by cutting him loose.  Police are saying that his co-workers' actions saved Cousins' life.

Paramedics were called and he was taken to the Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle where he is still recovering from his neck injuries.
