Crash Clean Up On The Interstate In Bangor Causing Traffic Delays Tuesday
Authorities are still trying to clean up debris from two crashes that occurred on the Interstate in Bangor Tuesday morning.
Maine State Police say the first accident involved a tractor-trailer that went off the road in the Northbound lane near the Hammond Street exit, Exit 183.
According to Department of Public Safety Spokesperson, Shannon Moss, a secondary crash happened when two vehicle collided in traffic caused by the tractor-trailer crash.
"The passing lane has just re-opened for traffic, but troopers are still working to clean up the scene. Exit 1B on 395 westbound is also shut down currently. Be prepared for a longer commute if you're going through this area."
