Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Southeast New Brunswick

The RCMP is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred Saturday evening on Highway 114 in Beaver Brook, New Brunswick.

Police received a call of the crash shortly after 7:50 p.m.  A motorcycle was travelling north towards Moncton, when it collided with a car heading south, according to Cst. Cornelius Brown of  Southeast District RCMP.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 62-year-old man from Riverside-Albert died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The lone occupant of the car was not injured.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended to the accident scene. The investigation to determine the cause of the crash is continuing.
