
65-Year-Old Man Died after Motorcycle Crash in Maine
A 65-year-old man died Friday after a motorcycle crash on Route 4 in Turner.
Died at the Hospital
William Brooks from Lisbon was seriously injured in the single-vehicle crash. He was taken to Central Maine Medical Center and later pronounced dead.
Left the Roadway and Crashed
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office said Brooks was riding his Harley Davidson around 3:38 pm when the motorcycle “left the roadway for an unknown reason.”
Ejected from Motorcycle
Brooks was ejected from the bike and had critical injuries.
Investigation Remains Open
The investigation is ongoing. A crash reconstructionist from the Lewiston Police Department was on the scene.
