
Woman Died after Motorcycle Hit Deer in Maine
A 63-year-old woman died in a motorcycle crash Saturday night after hitting a deer in Dexter.
Motorcycle Collided with Deer in Road
The Dexter Police Department said the motorcycle hit the deer while it was crossing Route 7 around 7:30 pm.
Life-Threatening Injuries
The woman had life-threatening injuries and was flown by helicopter to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
Died at Hospital
She was listed in critical condition and later died at the hospital.
Ongoing Crash Investigation
Her name and age were released until family is notified. No information about the deer was made available. The crash remains under investigation.
