Jolene’s Top 5 Most Hated Halloween Treats

For this week’s top 5, I wanted to do something Halloween related… so I came up with my top 5 most hated Halloween treats.

When I was a kid, I always looked forward to the end of the night, when my brother and I would trade our Halloween treats. He liked this one, but not this one, and vice versa… so we would trade. It was kind of a tradition in our house.

So here is my personal top 5 most hated Halloween treats.

5. Chocolate Coins. I mean, really, who gives out chocolate coins? They always tasted like cheap plastic to me. Why not just give out real money?

4. Necco Wafers. They are just chalky tasting and all around disgusting.

3. Tooth Brushes. As a parent, I understand this one… but think of the kids. How disappointing would it be to get a toothbrush? Kind of defeats the purpose of the candy.

2. Pencils. I get that not everyone wants to hand out candy, but a pencil… come on!

1. Raisins. Is it snack time at school? I think not!
