Jolene’s Top 5 Favorite Halloween Animals

With Halloween just around the corner, I've come up with a top 5 list of Halloween Animals… and when I say animals, I mean real animals, not the mythical warlocks and the like. When I see any of these top 5 animals, it makes me think Halloween… maybe it’s the dark, mysterious side of me… or could it be that I've seen too many Halloween movies? Anyway, here’s this week’s top 5.

5. Black Crows. The crow is a bird that brings about thoughts of doom and bad fortune in the minds of many cultures worldwide.

4. Rats. The rat is dirty and grungy in my mind. Just thinking of them makes me quiver in disgust. Did you know they can survive being flushes down the toilet? Gross!

3. Spiders. Those creepy, crawly little critters get me every time! Spinning their webs… Nasty!

2. Bats. I still have nightmares about the bats in my house as a kid! Flying around all scary… not my cup of tea for sure.

1. Black Cats. They’re seen as a symbol of bad omens and bad luck, but also as magic and mystery. They’re mysterious creatures that often play vital roles in Halloween movies. As for me, I’m just not a cat person.
