House Fire in Edmundston, New Brunswick

A fire damaged a two-storey house on St. Georges Avenue in Edmundston, N.B. Friday around 1 p.m.

One woman escaped the fire uninjured, and is staying with relatives. The Canadian Red Cross is providing food, clothes & emergency purchases.

The damaged will be assessed by insurers, said officials.
