The players group includes Wendel Clark, Stephane Richer, Ron Duguay, Dennis Maruk, Al Iafrate, Petr Klima, Gary Leeman, Mike Lalor and two others to be determined.

The benefit is for Dan and Kyla Ouellette, whose infant son, Sam, spent the first five months of his life in intensive care at hospitals in Fredericton and Halifax. Sam was home for just a short time when he came down with severe pneumonia and suffered a collapsed lung.

After being airlifted to IWK in Halifax, staff performed CPR when Sam went into cardiac arrest. At eight months old, he was diagnosed with a rare heart condition. He has spent the majority of his time on a ventilator in the pediatric intensive care unit.

The benefit hockey game in Woodstock on Wednesday, February 10th at 7 p.m. Atlantic time will help the Ouellette family with the purchase of special equipment for their son.

Tickets for the game are $25 per seat and are on sale now at the Ayr Motor Centre, or you can email coorslightdoolyshockeyclub@gmail.com. There are also special tickets available for a meet-and-greet in the dressing room or for a reception with the NHL Legends, which includes autographs and photos.
