Every year, many art teachers come together and bring the best art from students' in their classes and display them at the Aroostook Centre Mall and call it "Essence of the North."

On Friday night, parents, students, and teachers showed up to view some of the best artwork from 13 different schools in Aroostook County.

The artwork on display was from students in Kindergarten all the way up through high school. So, various, different ages and grades were represented.

Our photos here really don't give the experience much justice, but we thought we would give you a thumbnail view of what you can see when you go to the Aroostook Centre Mall.

Hopefully, these photos will whet your appetite and peak your interest enough to stop in and take a look and see just how talented our students in the Country are.

Here are projects from the 13 schools that participated in the art show. Enjoy!
