Tuesday’s heavy snowfall has resulted in a number of cancellations in northern Maine and New Brunswick  due to road conditions.  We’ll keep this post updated throughout the day with the latest information.

 

Other closings:

The Presque Isle Public Library closed early at 4:30 p.m. due to road conditions.

The Aroostook County budget public hearing tonight is cancelled.

River Valley Gymnastics - All classes are canceled this evening at both the Florenceville and Grand Falls locations.

Carleton County Fiddlers is cancelled for this evening

All-Star Gymnastics has cancelled classes in Houlton and Mars Hill.today due to the weather.

Mars Hill Recreation Dept.  All afternoon and evening activities cancelled for today

Aroostook County Government. Admin. Offices    Closing early at 1:00 PM

The film Neither Wolf Nor Dog, has been cancelled tonight at the University of Maine at Presque Isle

Presque Isle District Court in closing at 1:00 PM

Woodstock Duty Free Shop has closed early today due to the weather and poor driving conditions.

UMPI will close at 3:30 p.m. today,  All classes are canceled and offices closed.

NMCC will close at 4 p.m. today. All evening classes are cancelled. The closure includes Husson and the wellness center.

The Houlton Higher Education Center will close at 2:00 p.m.

Schools:

 

MSAD 1 (Presque Isle, Mapleton area) will be letting out starting at 11:30 a.m.

MSAD 45 (Washburn) 11:30 dismissal. No afternoon pre-k and no after school activity

The Woodland school will be releasing students at 11:45 today.

RSU 39 (Caribou, Stockholm) will be dismissing at 12 noon

SAD 32 Ashland will have early dismissal at 12 noon

MSAD 20 will be dismissing at 12 noon

MSAD 42 (Central Aroostook Schools) are closing early at noon.

Van Buren District School will be dismissing at noon.

Easton Schools will be released at 12 noon. No after school activities.

The Anglophone West School District (N.B.)- Zones 1, 2 & 3 are dismissing three hours early due to weather.  This includes schools in Edmundston, Grand Falls, Plaster Rock, Perth-Andover, Florenceville-Bristol, Bath, Centreville, Hartland and Woodstock.

The Van Buren Middle School basketball games have been rescheduled for Monday, November 19th.
