Body of Edmundston Man Found 9 Months After He Went Missing
The remains of an Edmundston man who was reported missing last November have been recovered following an extensive search.
On Friday, August 10th, members of the Edmundston Police Force were informed of the discovery of human remains in a wooded area near Nadeau Street in Edmundston. The remains were later recovered by police investigators.
On Sunday, the body was identified as 56 year old Charles Boucher of Edmundston, according to a news release. Boucher was reported missing by his family members on November 2nd, 2017.
An autopsy will be performed in the coming days to determine the cause of death. The investigation continues but the police do not suspect foul play.
