Edmundston, New Brunswick, will be the place to get your fill of jazz and blues this summer.

For three big days, the Edmundston Jazz and Blues Festival will be held. The musical event is being held Friday through Sunday, June 14-16 in downtown Edmundston.

This marks the 25th year of the festival and organizers have decided to make the music event free to the public in hopes a larger variety of people discover blues and jazz music. And the festival will be headed back to downtown Edmundston to better allow for upcoming projects.

Another addition to this edition of the Edmundston Jazz and Blues Festival is the Ribfest. Rib vendors will be selling a variety of ribs set up in four kiosks. Event organizers see this another unique element to the festival.

Musical acts for the 3-day festival have been named and you can find the list of artists and days and times of their performances on the Edmundston Jazz and Blues Festival website.
