17-Year-Old Died after Single-Vehicle Crash in Maine
A 17-year-old male died Monday morning after a crash on Turner Road in Auburn.
Crashed Down an Embankment
The single-vehicle crash happened around 7:04 am. Police said the teen was driving a 2019 Subaru Impreza when he lost control, went off the road, and went down an embankment.
Teen Died at the Scene
The 17-year-old died at the scene. Name was not released.
Police said Speed and Distraction were Factors
The Auburn Police Department said “speed and distraction are believed to be contributing factors to the crash.” The crash is under investigation.
