Unborn Baby Holding a Doctor’s Hand Captured on Photo

On October 9, Alicia Atkins and her husband were at an Arizona hospital for the birth of their third child - Nevaeh Atkins (heaven spelled backwards) when something amazing happened!

While Atkins’ doctor was performing a C-section, before little Nevaeh was even out of the womb, she grabbed his finger. The doctor told Alicia’s husband ‘Hey, she’s holding my finger.’ The proud dad had his camera handy and snapped this heartwarming photo of Nevaeh.

After the baby was born, the family posted the photo on Facebook and caught the media’s attention.

Today, the Atkins say that the photo is framed and is in Nevaeh’s baby room -  ‘so that she’ll always know how special it was.’
