The popular event will be held on Sunday, February 26 from 1 to 4 in UMFK’s Fox Auditorium. The doors will open to the public at 12:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults. Children 12 and under are admitted free.

The jamboree brings together talented musicians from Aroostook County, southern Maine, the St. John Valley, and western New Brunswick for an afternoon of impromptu performances. Rising stars, as well as seasoned veterans take their turn showing their talent.

Fiddlers, guitarists, other acoustic musicians, and singers are invited to join in the Jamboree.

UMFK continues to foster an appreciation of the Acadian and Franco-American heritage and culture by hosting events such as the Fiddlers’ Jamboree.  The annual maple syrup festival, known as "Sucrerie” will be held on Thursday, March 16 from 11 to 1 in Nowland Hall.
